Your day begins with a luxury drive through the Val di Chiana to reach Montepulciano. Often confused with the grape from Abruzzo, the Vino Nobile is actually one of Italy’s oldest and most prestigious DOCG wines, crafted primarily from the local Sangiovese clone known as Prugnolo Gentile.

The Experience: We will visit a top-tier estate selected over decades of field experience. You will explore the historic cellars and taste the complex notes of plum and sweet violet that characterize this noble wine.

The Tradition: Learn the secrets of its 2-year oak aging process (3 for the Riserva) and discover how it differs from its neighbors.

For lunch, the choice is yours. We can suggest a charming local trattoria in the heart of Montalcino for an authentic meal, or we can arrange a private gourmet lunch at a boutique winery, where seasonal Tuscan dishes are paired with exclusive vintages.
